How does the AI form generation actually work?
You type a plain-English description — something like "a dental booking form with appointment type, calendar, and insurance field" — and the AI picks the right field types, writes the labels, sets validation rules, and builds the complete layout in seconds. No prompt syntax to learn. If you don't love the result, edit any field or regenerate with a tweaked description.
Will it conflict with my WordPress theme or other plugins?
Formcierge uses a fully scoped CSS reset that is sandboxed to the form container — it won't bleed into your theme styles and your theme styles won't bleed in. It's been tested with Divi, Elementor, Bricks, Avada, GeneratePress, Kadence, Astra, and dozens of popular themes without conflicts.

Do I need to know how to code?
Not at all. The drag-and-drop builder and AI generator are built for designers and content creators who've never touched PHP. That said, if you are a developer, there are hooks, filters, and a JavaScript API that let you extend Formcierge without modifying core files.
Can I migrate from Gravity Forms or WPForms?
Yes. We have a one-click import tool that reads your existing forms and converts them to Formcierge fields. Most simple forms migrate in under a minute. Complex forms with custom add-ons may need a few tweaks, but our migration guide walks through every edge case. Your existing submission data stays untouched in the database.
How does the booking calendar work — do I need Calendly?
No Calendly needed. The Calendar is a Formcierge Addon that adds a real date/time picker directly inside your form. You set your availability windows, buffer times, and booking limits in the plugin settings. Confirmation emails are sent automatically. Everything stays in WordPress — no third-party booking service, no extra monthly fee.
Is my form submission data stored on your servers?
No. All submission data is stored in your own WordPress database — we never see it. Formcierge communicates with our servers only for license validation and AI prompt processing (the prompt text is sent, never the submissions). If you add a Mailchimp or Slack integration, that data goes directly from your server to theirs.
What happens if I don't renew my license?
The plugin keeps working indefinitely — your forms, submissions, and all settings stay intact. You just lose access to plugin updates and support after the renewal date. There's no kill switch, no feature lock, no countdown timer. Buy once, keep it forever.
