These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Formcierge website at formcierge.com and the Formcierge WordPress plugin (collectively, the “Service”), operated by [Your Legal Name / Company Name] (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By purchasing a licence or using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. Licence
When you purchase a Formcierge Pro licence, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the plugin on the number of WordPress sites specified by your licence tier. Licence keys may not be shared, resold, or redistributed.
- Single Site — use on 1 WordPress installation
- Agency — use on up to 20 WordPress installations
- Lifetime — perpetual licence, no annual renewal required
The free edition of Formcierge may be used on unlimited sites without a licence key.
2. Refund policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all Pro licences. If you are not satisfied for any reason, email hello@formcierge.com within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. No questions asked. Refunds are not available after 14 days.
3. Renewals and cancellations
Annual licences renew automatically unless cancelled. You will receive a renewal reminder by email at least 7 days before the renewal date. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation stops future charges but does not trigger a refund for the current period. Lifetime licences do not renew.
4. Intellectual property
The Formcierge plugin code, design, and documentation are the intellectual property of [Your Company Name]. The free edition is distributed under the GPL v2 licence. The Pro edition includes proprietary add-ons that are not covered by GPL and may not be redistributed.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- Collect data in a way that violates applicable privacy laws (including GDPR)
- Build forms designed to deceive, defraud, or harm end users
- Circumvent licence validation or modify licence enforcement code
- Resell or sublicence the Pro plugin to third parties
6. Updates and support
Active licence holders receive plugin updates and support for the duration of their licence period. Support is provided via email and the account dashboard. We aim to respond to support requests within 1 business day. We do not guarantee support response times or specific feature delivery dates.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the plugin will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every WordPress configuration. You use the plugin at your own risk. Always back up your site before installing or updating any plugin.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for your licence in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including loss of data, revenue, or business.
9. Third-party services
The plugin may integrate with third-party services (e.g., AI providers, payment gateways, email services). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.
10. Governing law
